SideQuest Studio - Refund Policy

1. Introduction At SideQuest Studio, we strive to provide high-quality game audio composition, sound effects (SFX), and integration services. Due to the custom nature of our work, we have a strict refund policy outlined below.

2. General Refund Policy

  • All deposits and milestone payments are non-refundable once work has commenced.

  • Refunds are not available for completed and delivered work.

  • If SideQuest Studio is unable to complete the project due to unforeseen circumstances on our end, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion.

3. Deposits and Milestone Payments

  • A deposit is required before work begins. This deposit secures the project slot and covers initial work and planning.

  • Milestone payments are due at specified stages of the project. Once a milestone is completed, payments are non-refundable.

  • If a project is canceled by the client after work has begun, no refunds will be provided for work already completed.

4. Revision Policy

  • Each project includes a set number of revisions as agreed upon before work starts.

  • Additional revisions beyond the agreed limit will be charged separately.

  • Refunds are not provided due to dissatisfaction after revisions have been used.

5. Exceptional Circumstances Refund requests may be considered in the following situations:

  • SideQuest Studio fails to deliver agreed-upon services within a reasonable time frame, without prior communication.

  • A technical issue on our end prevents us from completing the work, and no alternative solution is available.

  • The client provides a valid reason for cancellation before work has begun, in which case a partial refund may be issued at our discretion.

6. Chargebacks and Disputes

  • If a chargeback is initiated without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback and take legal action if necessary.

  • Clients who initiate fraudulent chargebacks will be permanently banned from future services.
